  • Skin is soft and smooth every day

What is Diolaze Laser Hair Removal?

Diolaze by InMode is one of the fastest laser hair removal devices available. It is also nearly painless and extremely powerful for safely and gently removing even the most stubborn body hair.

More beneficial than previous laser hair removal devices, Diolaze is able to target the hair follicle with minimal pain thanks to its strong built-in cooling tip, which numbs the skin before, during, and after treatment.

The Diolaze laser is also able to address larger areas in a single session, making treatments much faster. It requires no downtime, and it is very strong and effective. If you're interested in receiving laser hair removal in Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, and Delray Beach areas, reach out to our staff at Beauty Within today!

How Diolaze Works

This technology uses a diode laser beam which passes through the skin to reach the hair follicles. The laser’s penetrating energy targets and heats up the root of the hair follicle, which then disables it and prevents future hair growth. The laser hair removal process requires an average of 6 treatments to address all of the hair, because the hair follicles will always be in different stages of growth.

Is laser hair removal safe?

What are the most commonly treated body areas with laser hair removal?

The most requested areas of the body to be treated with laser hair removal are the face, neck, forearms, legs, bikini line, and underarms.

Are laser hair removal results permanent?

Laser hair removal can result in up to 90% permanent reduction after your series of treatments has been completed. Once the unwanted hair has fallen out, it won’t return. However, new hair follicles can still develop — and these new follicles will grow new hair.

Is laser hair removal safe?

When laser hair removal is performed by a licensed, experienced medical professional, it is very safe. Diolaze, in particular, is equipped with advanced monitoring technology and automatic temperature shut-off controls to protect the skin.

Who is a Good Candidate?

Individuals who make the best candidates for laser hair removal are those who:

  • Have lighter skin with darker hair
  • Are not pregnant
  • Have not had skin cancer
  • Are not prone to pigmentation
  • Do not have skin conditions
  • Are not taking acne medication
  • Don’t have genital herpes or cold sores
  • Do not have raised scars

Before Treatment

You’ll need to shave the area to be treated with a clean, new razor one day before or on the day of your laser hair removal appointment. We recommend the following before your laser hair removal treatment:

  • No waxing or tweezing hairs that will be treated for six weeks
  • No sun exposure of the treatment areas for 2 weeks before or after
  • No spray tans or self-tanner for 2 weeks prior to treatment

What to Expect During Laser Hair Removal

Before treatment begins, your skin will be cleansed and prepped and we will provide you with eye shields. Numbing cream is not typically needed. We will apply a gel to help with conduction, and treatment will begin.

The Diolaze handheld device will move quickly across your skin, emitting pulses of powerful light as it goes. It includes a built-in cooling device on the tip to help keep you comfortable. Treatment time will vary depending on which areas you’re having treated.

Downtime and Results

You may temporarily feel like you have a sunburn in the treated area, but this will subside quickly and you can use a cold pack or aloe vera to help with any discomfort. Some patients experience short-lasting color changes in the skin, redness, and swelling. Blisters are not a common side effect, please contact your provider immediately if these develop.

  • Avoid sweating for 24 hours.
  • Avoid hot water for at least two days after treatment.
  • Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks.
  • Do not have any other skin treatments done for at least two weeks.
  • Do not wax or tweeze any hairs in the treated area.

Results: What to Expect

A few days following your laser hair removal treatment in Boynton Beach, you’ll notice your treated hairs beginning to fall out. These will actually grow back, but when they do, they will be much finer. These finer hairs will fall out and grow back again and again — finer each time — until they don’t grow back at all.
