How FormaV Works

Using powerful yet safe bipolar radiofrequency heat energy, FormaV performs thermal remodeling of the vaginal tissue, helping it to become strengthened and more firm inside, and more toned and smoother on the outside. This technology is incredibly safe and features built-in safeguards to keep your skin from becoming burned. The temperatures used are monitored very closely.

FormaV Treatment Details

A FormaV treatment session takes less than 30 minutes, and 1-3 sessions scheduled a month apart is typical.

The treatment uses a thin wand that is inserted into the vagina. Gel will be applied to the device first, it will enter the vagina, and begin emitting radiofrequency energy pulses. The wand will gently heat the area, helping to tighten the bladder and pelvic floor. This feels warm, but not hot. Patients remain very comfortable during treatment. You will hear a series of beeps which means that the machine is monitoring the temperature. The wand will be moved in and out of the vagina for about ten minutes, and then if needed, it will then be used for rejuvenation of the outer vagina for ten additional minutes.
