Meet Nicole

Nicole is a talented and experienced cosmetic injector, as well as a national trainer for Allergan Medical Aesthetics, makers of Botox® and Juvederm. She specializes in Botox®/Dysport®, hyaluronic acid fillers, Sculptra®, Kybella®, Qwo®, Morpheus8 and laser treatments.

Her artistic skill, in-depth knowledge, and striving for perfection contribute to her patients looking and feeling their best.  She is also a national trainer for Endo Pharmaceuticals, the creator of Qwo.

Nicole was the highest-producing injector in Central Florida before moving south and has injected over 100,000 syringes of filler. She is also a trainer for Allergan Medical Institute—the company that makes Juvéderm.

What to Expect During a Juvéderm Treatment

  • Cleansing and prepping:  Before your Juvéderm injections, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed and prepped.  Topical anesthetic may be applied if desired.
  • Safe injection of product:  We use a fine needle and/or cannula to safely inject the product. At Beauty Within, our highly experienced injector uses only the safest injection techniques. Juvéderm products contain lidocaine (a numbing agent) for added comfort.
  • Sit back while we do our thing:  We will do everything we can to make your treatment as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Treatments take approximately 30 minutes if being done on their own, but are often combined with other rejuvenating treatments such as DiamondGlow™ facials and Lumecca™ IPL.
  • Return to your day:  The recovery time for is generally minimal, which is one of the reasons it's a popular choice for non-surgical facial enhancements.

Downtime and Results

Although Juvéderm requires almost no downtime at all, you may experience bruising, swelling, bumpy or red skin, itchiness, and/or firmness in the areas that were treated. These side effects subside quickly, and if you’re concerned about any of them, we encourage you to bring them up during your consultation. We will also let you know what to avoid before and after treatment to decrease your downtime. You will have a two-week follow-up with us to make sure everything looks great.

How Juvéderm Works

The active ingredient of Juvéderm is a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring compound that can be found in our skin. The responsibility of hyaluronic acid is to keep our skin plump, strong, firm, and hydrated, but as we become older — particularly when entering our late 30s and 40s — our hyaluronic acid decreases more and more.

The result is dryer, thinner skin, which eventually turns into wrinkles and volume loss. However, when hyaluronic acid is injected into the tissue of our body, it attracts and binds itself to the water molecules in the skin, providing volume and lift and making the skin look more hydrated, plump, and healthy. Hyaluronic acid is an unparalleled source of skin support, which is why the hyaluronic acid within Juvéderm is so important and effective.
