Morpheus8
Exceptional Skin, Tissue, and Collagen Remodeling

Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency (RF) energy and microneedling procedure that delivers the deepest fractional treatments available, penetrating subdermal tissue up to 8 millimeters to improve the skin’s appearance and reduce irregularities without damaging the surrounding area. The result is the replacement of old, damaged skin with a healthy new glow.

What Can RF Microneedling Treat?

  • Uneven skin texture and tone
  • Facial lines and wrinkles
  • Crepey skin
  • Acne scarring
  • Large pores
  • Sagging skin
  • Loose skin of the face

The Science Behind Morpheus8

Morpheus8’s gold-plated steel microneedles reach deeply into the skin to create thousands of microscopic wounds in the skin. These tiny wounds trigger the body’s natural healing process, which disinfects the punctures, increases blood flow, and kick-starts new tissue growth. The wounds are rebuilt with new granulation cells, collagen, elastin, and a new network of blood vessels. The result is thicker, smoother, firmer skin. The addition of radiofrequency to this process enhances the results even more because of the controlled damage the radiofrequency produces. The radiofrequency heat can be delivered through the microneedles at two millimeters, three millimeters, or four millimeters, which means that these treatments can be customized to meet your specific needs.

for Face FAQs:

Morpheus8 is a cutting-edge technique that merges microneedling with radiofrequency technology to revitalize the skin. In microneedling, the skin is subjected to controlled microinjuries that stimulate the natural healing response and generate new collagen and elastin. By incorporating radiofrequency energy, Morpheus8 adds heat to the process, inducing exfoliation, collagen remodeling, and skin tightening. This technique works wonders on fine lines, wrinkles, mild lax skin, texture, scarring, and stretch marks. It is also suitable for people of all skin types and tones, making it an ideal choice for many.

Our top priority is your comfort during the Morpheus8 RF microneedling procedure. To ensure this, we apply a superior topical anesthetic to your skin and offer Pro-Nox™, a self-controlled analgesic with a mixture of 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide. We create a relaxing environment with the option of personalized music or television to help you feel at ease. If you have darker skin, we use lighteners to prevent pigmentation. Your provider will use the Morpheus8 handheld device on your face, which remodels deep skin layers with microneedles. The degree of discomfort depends on your personal pain threshold, but many patients find it very tolerable with numbing cream and Pro-Nox.

After your Morpheus8 RF microneedling treatment, you can expect 3-5 days of redness, swelling, and possible bruising. Directly after, your skin may feel sunburned and tight, but this is temporary. Be sure to avoid direct sunlight during your recovery. Multiple treatments are needed with Morpheus8 to achieve optimal results, as each session will “build on” the last one.

Optimal results are seen three months after the end of your treatment series. It is incredibly important to combine skincare and lifestyle habits to enhance your results and keep your skin looking its best and youngest. We recommend pairing with exosomes and Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar for best results.

If you are experiencing facial signs of aging or skin issues such as acne scarring or uneven texture, Morpheus8 RF microneedling could be a viable solution. A consultation will help us determine whether you are a good candidate for the procedure. However, it is important to note that Morpheus8 may not be recommended for individuals with pacemakers or metal inside their body, those who are pregnant or nursing, taking anti-inflammatory medications, or who have an active condition in the treatment area. Additionally, those with medical conditions that impair skin healing, who have undergone surgical or ablative procedures within the past three months, or who have used Accutane within one year should also exercise caution. Biological fillers in the last three months or neuromodulators in the last two weeks should also be disclosed during the consultation.

The average price for Morpheus8 for the face is $1,000/session.

This will depend on your individual goals, but we typically recommend three sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

An IPL photofacial and Alastin Skincare® Regenerating Skin Nectar™ are excellent alongside Morpheus8 RF microneedling.
