Add Youthful Volume and Facial Collagen

Over the age of 35, the bones of the face begin to decrease, and collagen loss begins in our 20s. For many, this results in hollowness of the temples and cheeks, which can make you appear gaunt and unwell. Sculptra is an excellent option to combat this issue because its biocompatible poly-L-lactic acid gradually restores volume.

What Sculptra Does

  • Provides volume and lift to hollow cheeks and temples
  • Kick-starts new collagen and elastin production
  • Improves skin elasticity and texture
  • Restores a youthful shape to the face
  • Subtle results progress over time

How Sculptra is Different from Other Injectables

While hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers such as Juvéderm® or RHA simply fill different areas of the face, Sculptra goes a step further. It not only fills; it also stimulates collagen production, helping the skin to naturally renew itself. Over the course of several months, Sculptra achieves natural-looking, long-lasting volumizing results. Its outcome is more gradual than most dermal fillers, and it also cannot be used to enhance the lips, as many hyaluronic fillers are known for. The choice between using hyaluronic fillers or Sculptra will be determined by your age, how much maintenance is required, and the severity of volume loss.

What to Expect During a Sculptra Treatment

Your skin will be cleansed, prepped, and numbed if you prefer. Our exceptional aesthetic injector will administer your Sculptra injections carefully and with precision.

We maximize your comfort with a special injection sequence, as well as safe and advanced injection techniques. Once the injections are complete, your injector may massage the area to help the Sculptra diffuse properly. Treatment time is typically 30 minutes.

Downtime and Results

Most patients return to their regular activities after Sculptra injections. Side effects may include redness, tenderness, swelling, or bruising where the injections were performed. You will have a two-month follow-up with us so that your results can be monitored. It’s important to understand that results with Sculptra are gradual — not immediate like they are with hyaluronic acid fillers. Typically 2-3 sessions are required to achieve optimal results. You will see rejuvenation develop over the course of the following months, with final results lasting up to two years.
